Photography: Groundbreaking

A groundbreaking ceremony can go from routine to great with a beautiful day as the setting.

In this photo, the Mayor of Indianapolis, the Governor of Indiana, the CEO of Allison and the Mayor of Speedway were in attendance for the dedication ceremony. In this phot, The governor is making his speech to the crowd.

The Lumix GH5 was set with at f/8 at 1/250 s and an ISO of 200. Photoshop helped bring some of the glare down, a little.

Photography: 2019 WomenInc’s Most Influential Corporate Directors

Two of our directors were recognized as 2019's Most Influential Corporate Directors, by the publication, Women's Inc.

My photo was used in the publication for their story on the two female leaders.

Again, the Lumix GH5 was the camera used, along with three speed lights and Photoshop for editing and clean up.

Photography: American Business Women Day

To celebrate the great women in the business workforce, I took a group photo of a few awesome individuals at Allison Transmission. I used multiple speed flashes, one behind the group and two in front. My camera was the Lumix GH5 and cleaned up in Photoshop.

Photography: Head Shots/Portraits

Portraits are a big part of my daily duties at my employer, but I also do a few on the side for friends and family. The head shots below were of my wife and her co-workers.

I used two speed flashes, with umbrella defusers, plus the one flash on my camera, also defused. The backdrop is the open field area infant of their building and it was a perfect day for taking great photos.


Photography: Parliament Building

I was visiting Europe in 2017 and we took a quick stop by Parliament, in London, England. The architecture of the building is breath taking and I was amazed just how large the building is. I photographed the image with my Canon DSLR , taking advantage to the building's angles and sharp edges, that lends itself to a stunning black and white image.

Sometimes finding the right spot can make a good photograph, great. This was the case for this senior portrait, taken on the campus of IUPUI, in Indianapolis, with my beautiful daughter.

This was the view from our hotel window during our visit in Amsterdam. It was a beautiful view, made better with the sun setting on our last day in Europe.

Photography: The Holy Bible

Sometime a photograph can bring emotion from the simplest of things. This quick image of a couple of bibles in my church really does just that. In focus / out of focus, is how life can be as a Christian and why the word of Jesus brings everything together.

This is from 2013 500 Festival OneAmerica Mini-Marathon. Although this was not a fight to win the race, I think this is a great photo showing the drive and competition of the the race.

Photography: Chicago 2014

While on a mini vacation to Chicago, we cam across this grew view of the river, leading up to the Trump Tower. The image was taken on my HTC One E8, and cleaned up via the Pixlr photo app.
